Ceftiofur L.P.U.

DESCRIPTION:

    An injectable broad spectrum antibiotic (Ceftiofur 5%), for use in cattle, with no milk or meat withdrawal period.


INDICATIONS:

  • For the treatment of mastitis
  • For the treatment of a wide range of bacterial diseases caused by both gram negative and gram positive bacteria

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS:

  • Administered with an intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
  • Cattle: 1ml/22-45kg live weight, repeat every 24 hours for 3 days

PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING:

  • Liquid: 100ml; 250ml flasks

Trifect Forte

DESCRIPTION:

    An injectable broad spectrum, penicillin based antibiotic. This product has the added benefit of Dipyrone, which acts as an analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and painless solvent for fast recovery.


INDICATIONS:

  • Treatment of antimicrobial infections for fast recovery in cattle

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS:

  • Administered with an intramuscular injection
  • 6-12mg/kg live weight, repeat every 24 hours for 3 days

PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING:

  • Box containing one flask-vial with solvent and one flask-vial with powder.

Lactomicin Intramammary

DESCRIPTION:

    Intramammary injectable oily suspension of synergestic antibiotics. It has the added benefit of anti-inflammatories targeting intramammary infections.


INDICATIONS:

  • Treatment and prevention of subclinical mastitis during the dry period

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS:

  • Administered via the intramammary route
  • One syringe (10ml) for each mammary quarter

PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING:

  • Syringe contains 10ml – Available in a box of 6, or a bucket of 60.

Intrauterine Ovules

DESCRIPTION:

    Broad spectrum cefalexin and gentamicin based intrauterine antibiotic for cattle that treats and prevents intrauterine infections.


INDICATIONS:

  • Abortions
  • Retained placenta
  • Mummified foetus and difficult birth process

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS:

  • Administered via the intrauterine route
  • In local application, dose is not related to weight and/or age of the treated animal. The dose equivalent of 1 and 2 ovules are between 600 and 1200mg of Cephalexin and 200 to 400mg of Gentamicin respectively

PRESENTATION AND PACKAGING:

  • Pessaries: Available in boxes of 60, or 100 units

Oversulf ADI

DESCRIPTION:

    Broad spectrum sulfamethoxazole bactericidal antibiotic and anti-diarrhoea that can be used in both small and large animals.

INDICATIONS:

  • To treat diarrhoea in cattle, sheep and goats

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS:

  • Administered with a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection
  • 0.6ml/10kg live weight every 12 hours
